Device Tier
The device tier specifies how the device SDK manages data transfer frequency from the device to the cloud.

Device Pricing by Tier
Neuko Device Service provides every facility required by a device to connect and manage itself securely.
The price is a monthly device subscription price for every device connected to the platform, which includes the with following features:
- Secure connectivity to the Neuko Cloud IoT Platform.
- Virtual Twin.
- Unique x.509 certificate.
- At-rest data encryption
- Historical data

Pricing Example
Scenario 1: Building energy monitoring solution
You have deployed 100 energy meters to monitor energy consumption in a building at every distribution board room. Because of the design of the building, you also deployed 2 Edge gateway to interconnect all the energy meters.
Each energy meter is measuring and sending 5 kb data to Neuko IoT Platform for every 1-minute while the Edge gateway sending telemetry information for every 5-minutes.
Your monthly cost as follows:
- Device pricing for energy meters = $ 0.50 (M1 tier) * 100 = $ 50
- Device pricing for Edge gateway = $ 0.50 (MP5 tier) * 2 = $ 1
- Data storage = 100 energy meters * (5kb / (1024 * 1024) ) * 60-minutes * 24-hour * 31 days * $ 0.035 = $ 0.75
- Monthly cost = $ 51.75
Scenario 2: Motion sensor application
You have deployed 100 motion sensors in your manufacturing facility as part of your security enhancement program.
Motion sensor is sending data only when a motion is detected. So, all sensors is an MP5 tier.
For this calculation purposes, assume that each sensor detected motion 5 times a day. So your monthly cost as follows:
- Device pricing for motion sensors = $ 0.50 (M1 tier) * 100 = $ 50
- Number of motion detected for a month = 5 * 31 * 100 sensors = 15,500
- Number of additional device-to-cloud data = 15,500 * ($ 0.20 / 10k) = $ 0.31
- Data storage = 100 sensors * (1kb / (1024 * 1024) ) * (15,500 + 8928) * $ 0.035 = $ 0.08
- Monthly cost = $ 50.39

Relay Service Subscription Pricing Tier
Neuko Relay Service is a cloud-based communications platform that sends messages generated by an IoT device to any destination outside the world, such as real-time streaming or another device.
The price depends on the tier and number of messages relayed; each month you’ll be charged for usage in accordance with the number of messages processed.
